Things I’m grateful for:

- New Kings of Leon CD. Thank god for friends who actually buy music.
- this editorial [i haven't seen it in real life, thank god for blogs such as camille's!] My sister would DIE, and I mean DIE for that yellow rose ring. There’s something indescribable about it but these sorts of things are what make me love fashion more and more every day.
- Weather that makes me smile. Just don’t let me get sunburnt, or too hot. Not a summer fan, but spring rocks my world.
- blog views. despite the deeply self indulgent nature of this blog, knowing that theres a chance other people are reading this makes me smile.
- assignments with a 2000 word equivalent. Fkn. A.
- new stuff. vintage finds coming soon

Things I’m not grateful for:

- Having my wallet stolen for the second time in 2 months, but this time it didn’t have any money in it. Just a necklace with two 18th gifts on it including a tiffany ring all my friends got together to buy me. Almost cried.
- Friends who put in no effort but are awesome and fun when we’re together
- Friends who are selfish and think the world revolves around them and need to grow up. [These 2 are about different people]
- Chemistry. Nuff said.

Other things I’m happy about:

- this blog letting me say whatever the hell I want to say with no repercussions in my non-virtual life.

Things That Don’t Need Spellcheck

1. Email address fields.

I mean duh. If its not just your name, which will be ‘misspelt’ anyway, its probably going to include;
a) bad grammar
b) numbers, sometimes in the place of letters
c) unnecessary punctuation and/or underscores
d) all of the above
2. MSN
SERIOUSLY? PC users can [maybe] tune out, cause I’m a mac user and, yes, mac messenger has the squiggly lines. Now, this perhaps is a good thing, because it has slightly reduced the degree to which I butcher the english language on msn, though my use of capital letters is obviously still abysmal. HOWEVER, the fact that even MSN is a misspelling on that thing, reminds me that its being taken a touch too far.

In Totally Unrelated News I received a pair of shoes bought from Topshop online today and I am in love. I’m wearing them right now. May I inform you that I’m also wearing tracksuit pants and a top I regularly wear to bed. *sigh*. I will take a photo of my outfit tomorrow if it kills me, just to show you these shoes. Actually, I think I have posted a pic here from the website, can’t really be bothered checking, woven white leather lace-ups. DEVINE.

And now, because my actual life has been a whirl of working, uni and sleep [still not really healthy bah], I have no other news. The Olympics has also taken up a lot of time recently, checking all my favourite blogs they all have new [to me] posts, tis fun. So, nice to meet you anyway, bye!

Here is a list of things I want, need, love, have and want to share or generally felt like putting in this list.

want/need

One piece pair of bathers [probably Seafolly or Von Zipper, and yes I actually need some new bathers, I've managed to LOSE my favourite pair *slaps head* and my other ones are 3 years old and don't really fit properly.

a decent gold ring. [I just want one that will stay gold! It's not my fault I'm poor and diva is all I can afford]

Another pair of Cheap Monday jeans. [sass and bide pair I just bought at the warehouse sale have already streched, though its possibly partly my fault]

95+ ENTER [dream on sister]

decent fake id for schoolies [shhhh]

subscription to Frankie [marieke hardy cracks me up, in the green guide too, i wish i was half as good as her]


love

my hat from sportsgirl; straw and awesome for summer, if you see me on schoolies, chances are I’ll be wearing this hat.

sunglasses; see post about how much I love sunglasses.

buttons; sticking them on hair slides not only makes me feel arty and cool but looks super cute. I made one earlier to go with my grad ball dress, tis purple and gold

saying ’super cute’ and ‘que pasa’ but this must only be used totally out of context. Makes life fun.

finishing exams; 6 down, 1 to go

rings; I bought two [count them TWO] rings to wear to grad ball, this would be great, except I already had one I planned on wearing which I love. I hate choices like these :(.

giving presents; I probably sound pretentious but I genuinely like giving people presents, I love to see the look on their face when I just know they’ll love it.
