Damn.

I did nothing today, in fact, I didn’t even get out of bed till just before 3pm. But my hair still needs a wash, so wasteful!

Aaaaaanyway, today my mum brought home a magzine I bought at work the other day and left there and then ended up at the other shop and aaaaah, had to wait 3 days to get it! I actually bought it really late, can’t believe it!

GOTTA.
LOVE.
FRANKIE.

Behold:
For the love of it.

Thats a Q & A with Mystery Jets and a quality comparison of toilet paper. What more could a girl want?

I’m lazy…

So heres a few things my camera threw up recently that I’ve been too CRAP to upload…

Here we have friday, work and shopping [left] and thursday night, out. Behold a 3am photo shoot. Eugh.
Left: kmart shoes, ? jeans, vintage cardi & bag, lollipop top
Right: zu shoes, ? tights [now ruined], mink pink skirt, effigy & supre[worn underneath] tops.

Here we have thursday day [left] and last friday, both to work.
Left: shoes I love Billy [retired, overworn = ouch], vintage skirt, belt & bag, shirt by Hello Gorgeous
Right: Sachi boots, mink pink skirt, vintage bag and belt, kmart tee.

Went to a bar for my friends bday a few weeks ago, I edited this as such to try and show the two tops I’m wearing, the wet look one has already popped up in this post, here I put a black lacy sheer number on top, I actually bought them together. Yeah they’re both supre, oh the shame! Lol, na I like em, and they were cheap. Meh.

Another uni outfit from awhile ago, Bardot cardi, jumper dress thing worn as a top vintage target [I know!], vintage belt, mink pink skirt aka the skirt that will not die. But I’m ok with that, it just goes with everything!

A few other pics failed me so I’ll end it here, I’ve been updating chictopia a bit more regularly but most of these are fairly recent as I’m halfway through holidays therefore less likely to be running out the door to get a train and more likely to actually like what I’m wearing. Also went shopping the other day. Fun was had, new things were found, I’ll try and post when I wear them :).

Alrighty, I’m outie.

oooooooooooooooooh.

GG is back!!!

Not Gilmore Girls, don’t be silly that series is over [damn shame too]!

I mean Gilmore Girls and… cue age-inappropriate and overtly girlish squeal!!!

So much fun! I had to stop looking at photos cause I was saving too many.

Jenny is SO forgiven for putting Vanessa in that orange montrosity is the season final, she looks Super. Cute. And Serena looked beautiful, her head chain was freaking amazing, my sister and I are looking into a DIY ASAP.

Dan looked hot the whole ep, but I couldn’t not put in what Chuck wore to the white party. A touch of black, daring. Daringly AWESOME. There’s actually a blazer I want at the moment that is…scarily similar. And this last pic is nothing all that special but did anyone else notice that HER bag matches HIS t-shirt. Me think it mazing. Ok steph is shutting up now…

fail.

Epic. Fail. At doing anything productive today.

I exaggerate, but only a teeeeeensy tiny bit really. However, heres what I DID do:

Fun. Selling the jeans on ebay… and many more items are coming soon!

Listening too… Angus and Julia Stone. Perfection.

Spotted…

First customer to come into the shop when I arrived at work today?

Jo Stanley.

Ok so there are better people it probably could’ve been, and has been, but people don’t know who authors are and the other shop gets the really cool people. [Think Rob Sitch, footy players, members of the Bailieu family, a guy from Polyphonic Spree (I know!!!).] For the un-educated, Jo Stanley is a radio host/comedien whose also appeared of TV shows like Thank God Your Here.

And you know what, she’s quite hot. I have lusted after the jacket she was wearing for eons [Bardot leather jacket see: archives].
However, she was ALSO wearing The Ugliest Boots I’ve seen in… a LONG time. I’m gonna go all the way and say EVER.
Sort of a cross between this [without laces]:

aaaand this:

Yeah.

Stupid Question To Ask In A Bookshop #Don’t Ask.

“What religion is this Holy Bible?”

later followed up by; “Well I wouldn’t know, I’m Buddhist.”

The ignorance in todays society ASTOUNDS ME.

lounging in champagne…

I went to this bar that could’ve been way cooler than it was, the dj needed serious work! There also weren’t very many people there, but the formula was cool. Called Champagne Lounge [little collins, near the corner with exhibition st if your in melbourne].

The best bit, was this wall with all these quotes on it, about champagne. Crappy quality is because I took these on my phone, didn’t have my proper camera with me, dammit!
Another one I took didn’t come out AT ALL
“In victory, you deserve Champagne, in defeat, you need it. - Napoleon

And the other one won’t upload, will try again later… edit: it worked. obviously.

and its Winston Churchill if you can’t read that…

Wish it had been better, maybe another time.

Things That Don’t Need Spellcheck

1. Email address fields.

I mean duh. If its not just your name, which will be ‘misspelt’ anyway, its probably going to include;
a) bad grammar
b) numbers, sometimes in the place of letters
c) unnecessary punctuation and/or underscores
d) all of the above
2. MSN
SERIOUSLY? PC users can [maybe] tune out, cause I’m a mac user and, yes, mac messenger has the squiggly lines. Now, this perhaps is a good thing, because it has slightly reduced the degree to which I butcher the english language on msn, though my use of capital letters is obviously still abysmal. HOWEVER, the fact that even MSN is a misspelling on that thing, reminds me that its being taken a touch too far.

*************************************************************************************************************

In Totally Unrelated News I received a pair of shoes bought from Topshop online today and I am in love. I’m wearing them right now. May I inform you that I’m also wearing tracksuit pants and a top I regularly wear to bed. *sigh*. I will take a photo of my outfit tomorrow if it kills me, just to show you these shoes. Actually, I think I have posted a pic here from the website, can’t really be bothered checking, woven white leather lace-ups. DEVINE.

And now, because my actual life has been a whirl of working, uni and sleep [still not really healthy bah], I have no other news. The Olympics has also taken up a lot of time recently, checking all my favourite blogs they all have new [to me] posts, tis fun. So, nice to meet you anyway, bye!

quote me

We’re not cavemen sure, but we still write shit on walls don’t we?

-rosso, of merrick and rosso; aussie comedy duo/radio presenters. No quotation marks cause I’m pretty sure this isn’t word for word. still funny though.
