hello again.
I’m busy with nothing at the moment so blogging is, as always, sporadic at best.
Apologies for the terrible photography, I’ll try and figure out something better at some point.
You know that feeling when your always busy but getting nothing done? So annoying.
I’m very angry at my body at the moment because even when I’m not busy I’m so darned tired if I’m not sleeping I’m approaching a vegetative state in front of the tv or if I’m feeling particularly frisky, the computer. Right now would be an excellent example of this.
On thursday night I had the 18th of a girl I went to school with at her house and then a few of us went out afterwards just for kicks, it was Anzac Day on Friday which = no uni or work because the shop is closed on public holidays. Hurray for sleep, not so much for bank balance. Anyway, I wore one of my fail safe outfits because I got home an hour before I left and I left 20 minutes late.
Apologies for the terrible photography, I’ll try and figure out something better at some point. In this photo:
Black and yellow [looks kinda green here, its greenish yellow] dress by Mink Pink
vintage belt
tights by ?
black patent peep toes from payless [halfway through the night switched to black ankle boots, I drove and therefore had a car in which I stored said boots]
bag is vintage, Glomesh and its the real stuff too, my mum had it, it was her mums back in the day. Love clothes with a story.
I’m also wearing a massive stack of silver necklaces mostly vintage or chains I’ve accumulated from broken necklaces over the years, they’re covered in this pic, I was in a hurry. Interestingly, one of them was the chain strap for a bag which I much preferred as a necklace.
This dress has several happy memories associated with it. Now, however, it will also remind me of the time my best friend [LD] ruined my night by chewing my ear off about her fight with her boyfriend for the ENTIRE NIGHT. You don’t have the context so that might sound insensitive but I wasn’t the only one who thought she was ridiculously overbearing. When we went out from the party, 3 of us, we introd her to a few guys we knew where we were and they thought she was a complete snob. Which she’s normally completely not so I wasn’t happy Jan!!! *end rant*
[Jan isn't her name, it's a pop culture reference only tv watching aussies will get, soz]
