nice to meet you anyway

I love the simplicity of sunglasses, the functionality and the fun one can get out of a new pair. Slipping on a fab pair of sunnies re-invents any stale outfit [not that I have any of those...] like these vintage ones pictured. I personally have terrible luck with breaking sunglasses, a truly heartbreaking experience but I have a few pairs that I absolutely adore. For me, the bug eyed look is the best because I have a long face I can take the height, in fact, smaller ones make me look balloon headed. So the Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe’s of the world did me a favour when they started wearing the massive sunnies, though unlike Nicole mine don’t dwarf my face. I’m just, like, totally that big headed. Haha.

So my advice is visit trusty www.ebay.com where you will have to sort through the b/s but there are some gems in there. I also discovered www.80spurple.com which has a good range of clothes as well as a kickass sunglasses section, not sure where they’re based, $13 for a pair of sunnies sounds a bit too sweet to me, beware of p&h.
